Don't forget torque.The LT1 makes 450ftlbs torque at only 4000rpms. Pushrod engines are actually more efficient compared to a 4 valve overhead cam engine. They don't need to be revved high, screamed...

With the coilovers one could probably better corner weight the car IMO. The only advantage I can think of is weight savings. Two lightweight composite leaf spring vs 4 steel coil springs. With that...

450hp 450Tq, direct injection. Lighter ,better suspension..
I hope we don't have to wait too long for the Z06! They said that the new Z is going to have CC brakes..

Yeah Boardwalk Chevy is over about 1.5 hours from me. Never bought any cars from them though..

No I hear you. I'm gonna enjoy my C6Z too. They're badass cars to begin with. When the C7Z06 does come out I'm not too worried about GM trying to work out any glitches on the 1st year model. For me...

It's doable . The 2006 Z06 1LZ weighed under 3200lbs.. The new car is going to be awesome. It's too bad we will probably have to wait 2 years for the C7Z06 to be out..:banghead:
