I too had that same problem. I ended up going to a local welding supply store and bought a graded hardware allen key. The key cost me around 8 bucks. I used a crescent wrench on the end to torque it.

Seeing as how lots of e30 guys swap e36 m3 engines into their cars, it can be done. Size wise, the e30 engine is smaller, so plenty of clearance there. Obviously there will be ecu issues and aux....

This ^ is correct. What you guys are doing is taking up the slack in the line when you adjust the 2 bolts on the handle. It's a band-aid on a bullet wound.

It is the "door lock actuator" failing in the drivers door. They are around $50 a piece and you have to take the door panel off to change it. As far as reading codes go, autozone will do it for free....

make sure to buy some "bulldog" adhesion promoter and use it. You won't have any flaking problems then. Also, finish off with a matte or satin clear coat, it'll last longer.
