You're looking at 11-12K if you hold out for a good buyer. Financing on your car wouldn't permit much mroe than that for a buyer and that genrally determines market value.

Hmm I havent done this in quite awhile. If I recall correctly on the e36 you must pull back the ebrake boot over the ebrake and loosen up some screw or clip. then yank it off.
