Default Upgraded Nav Software?

Hey guys,

My car is an early production '05 and it has the older looking Nav set-up? Do I have to get the upgraded software from the dealer?

Will they upgrade it as part of my warranty?

I just can't stand the look of that old-school map...your help is greatly appreciated.

Best,

/Mark

You can just download the iso, burn it to CD and then do the upgrade yourself. The CD is slef boot, self updating, no special tricks, just put the CD in and the Nav will do the upgrade in about 5min.

i figured it out... you have to change the view in the hidden menu to "on" then when back in the map view you can then toggle the mode to-and-from perspective.

First post so be gentle.

You can download the Nav OS do this yourself, it's an easy mod, Since you are upgrading then you can also have a custom splash screen, sky and pointers, this is what i have.

Splash

Sky

3d Pointers

Download link for V31 (please note the link is for the standard OEM OS, not my modded one).

To mod the splash sky and pointers then have a look at this link.
