Just spent the last 6hrs trying to install these brackets to fix the rear bumper sag with no luck!
Attached are some photos (sorry for the quality) but I have no idea where to place them or how to install them once I remove the inner fender guard. Can anyone help? This is very frustrating and with your help, maybe there is a simple solution. I appreciate the help! Thanks! Last pic: Flip it over! The hook is supposed to be upwards then you'll be fine!
Place it where the bumper meets the fender. Took some pics, didn't turn out that good but I hope you get the idea. The hook is uppwards and pointed back i believe. Just push the part on the bumper and the hook leans inside the well. ![]() ![]() Last edited by Philly_swedem; Sun, Mar-29-2009 at 06:06:27 PM. |

That clip you got on the last pic is upside dow. The slotted end goes onto a threaded stud which has a nut that holds that the top of clip in place. Also there is some travel that can be acclomplished. The bottom end is which hold the front of the bumper from sagging. It snaps into place. After you have it snapped into place you can adjust some what and then tighten the nut. GL.

If you look at Philly_Swedem's 1st pic, you could still see the metal clip on resting ontop of the edge. Is that correct? Wouldn't that be noticeable? Thanks
