Default Which do you think is a better deal

So I have been in the market for and E46 M3 and havent been able to decide on which one of these to go with.

First:
2001 LSB with 48,500 miles for $16,500
clean title
Volk ce-28's
pop out screen/nav
carbon fiber gtr skirts and carbon fiber diffuser
agency power catback with software claiming 380hp

Second:
2002 LSB with 20,500 miles for $12,000
salvage title. Car was broken into
molded lip to fron of car dont remember which type
rear window lip
re-upholstered seats

1st deal. never buy a car with a salvage title. Unless you're completly stripping it and making it a dedicated track car

First one, with the clean title. Avoid salvage title; unless he's willing to let it go for quite a lot less.

You can buy a salvage title car as long as you know every reason and detail on why it was salvage titled, and how it was fixed. If you don't then the first one is the better deal.

Good luck trying to resell the salvaged car if youre not the original owner that can possibly have a good excuse for a salvaged title...(which is stolen and stripped not collision)

Ok guys thanks for of your thoughts. The salvage car is salvaged because the seats were slashed, and the radio was stolen. As well as some marks on the dash and door panels. But the seats were recoverd in leather and look brand new. The car was never in an accident. Also if its any better its coming from a dealer and not a private seller.

I would go with the first one.
I am not sure which insurance company will salvage M3 because of the reason you were told.
I've seen M3 at my friend's bodyshop damaged $18,000 and AllState wanted to fix the M car.... so....
Plus, I wouldn't trust a dealer selling salvaged vehicles anyway...
