Hi guys, I have a quick question, I tried searching, I promise...In my e36 m3 when I start driving the ASC and ABS lights will come on for reasons unknown, anyone know about this, any info would be appreciated!
TIA,

Are you spinning your wheels when the ACS light comes on? That would be the only reason for the ACS light to flash.

i had a thing in my 98 m3 where i had to press the ACS button a bunch of times for it to turn off (or back on). and on some days it turned on/off with one press. i was thinking bad connection and reconnected all the plugs and stuff but nothing ever changed. sold my car like that.

How long have you had the car and how long has the problem been happening?

Mine did this for a few days when I first got it. It would stall randomly and then when I re-started, ASC and ABS lights were on. Had it checked for bad battery, alternator, etc. and nothing showed up.

The guy before me hadn't driven it much, so the shop advised me to just drive it and see if it cleared up........and it did...

Not very scientific, I know, but it worked...

hmm, my buttun works fine, but once it comes on by itself there is no turning it off without restarting the car.
