Default Pics: Could you live with this repainted rear fender? Oxford material

Hi.

It's almost IMPOSSIBLE to find a nice M3 here in Sweden but now I have found the PERFECT one (almost)

A 2001/2002 M3 here in Sweden costs almost as much as a 2006 M3 E92 in the States, that some perspective huh? )

Anyways, I've found a 2002 M3 6speed manual with 4300km and 2 owners in mint condition.

Not to the sad part, the rear fender is repainted because of some scratch and I hate when I can se the difference in colors.

Not to my question, could you live with this fading because the rest of the car is perfect?

Here are the pics and what part that is repainted:

Oh yeah, the molding on the rear fender will be repainted lighter to match the new paint.

I can't tell at all. I could definitely live with it. When I bought my car it had quite a bit more wrong with it than yours. Go for it.

Go for it, if you never mentioned the fender repaint I don't think I would have ever noticed looking at those pictures.

From those pics, I don't see anything. I'm sure it's a bit different in person. But an '02 with 4300 kms (<3000 miles)... wow, those two previous owners really didn't drive much! I doubt you'll find a lower-mileage one. Besides, if you're not happy with the paint job, you can always get it resprayed.

dude, just fix the molding and itll look fine...if it bugs you that much, go to an autobody shop and have them blend it better.

I think it's fine, but in the end of the day, it will be you living with it, not us. So you really need to ask this for yourself.

I personally cannot tell much difference from the photos.
