Default Roobe16's 2005 Phoenix Yellow M3

Purchased in early July 2008 from a private seller, second owner in Pittsburgh PA. Drove out there from NJ to see the car and get it checked out, paid that day, met up with my college roommates who live in Pittsburgh, and then drove halfway back to NJ that night.

Pictures at my friends house after picking up the car:

I had already purchased an OEM BMW car cover and OEM BMW bra to use on the drive back. And I brought my Valentine1 radar detector, also to use on the drive back haha.

My M3 was in great condition when I bought it, about 24,000 miles and came with OEM 19's and OEM 18's. It has black interior with M cloth, business radio and SMG. It has CPO warranty and maintenance warranty until 02/2011 which was has been a HUGE help since it's my daily driver and I rack up the miles on it.

Only thing that really need replacing was the rear ///M3 badge because the sticker was peeling slightly. Purchased a shadow chrome badge from EAS; I like the shadow chrome, but when it needs replacing again I'll probably go with black or OEM again.

Badge-less:

I ordered custom plates right after I registered my M, received them a couple weeks later - WM08 M3 (William & Mary, class of 2008, M3 )

Middle of August 2008, not a month after having the car, first ticket
Pulled over for speeding, but the officer was nice and let me off easy by writing in seat belt violation.

Maintenance 7/31/2008: 25,479 miles. Inspection I and Oil Service performed at Circle BMW on 7/31/08. Also had wipers replaced. All parts and labor covered under maintenance warranty.

In 08/2008 I hardwired the V1 with concealed display in the ashtray. Little bit nervous taking apart a $60k car, but luckily I found a very detailed DIY online.

Also in 08/2008 I purchased a winter wheel/tire set from a forum member in preparation for driving it in NJ winters. After I purchased the winter set, I sold the extra OEM 18's that came with the purchase. The winter set is Beyern Type 5 18" wheels and Blizzak LM-25 tires 225/45 front 255/40 rear.

And in 08/2008 (busy month) I purchased the OEM BMW coupe alarm kit from EAS and installed it myself (Mad Russian DIY: http://m3.madrussian.net/diy_alarm.shtml). I had Circle BMW dealership activate the alarm.

And at the end of 08/2008 I received three EZpass violations in the mail, from my first drive in the M3 coming back from Pittsburgh after purchasing the car. Luckily, I just had to give them my EZpass account number and it was cleared up, $125 in fines avoided.

In 09/2008 I installed Umnitza Orion V2 60 LED 6000k angel eyes:

And then soon after painted reflectors from StealthAuto, and blackout gills, grill, and front, rear, and wheel badges, and silver turn bulbs - all from EAS:
