Default Technical question regarding caliper mounting center on e46 m3 spindles.

Would any of you guys be willing to help me out with this?

I'm looking for the dimension for the caliper mounting center on your e46 m3 spindles.

I am currently researching OEM brake upgrade options for us e36 guys, without dropping 1k+ on BBKs. I need to know if the e46 m3 caliper brackets/calipers will bolt up to e36 m3 spindles.

The dimension for the mounting center on e36 spindles is 4.75"

Yes, I'm aware of the 850ci calipers; I have had no luck sourcing them. I am also aware of Porsche calipers, and Wilwood, Alcon, etc. I haven't gone this route because I am specifically looking for a caliper that will utilize the stock mounting center without the use of aftermarket brackets.

The goal here is to fit E46 ZCP package calipers/brackets/rotors to the e36 ///M3.

Yeah, Alex was the first person I tried. Car-part.com has them starting @ 2200 but I was looking closer to the 1500 range.

Anyone have any luck with the dimensions?

Measured with my dial calipers, measured at 4.800" E46 M3. Obviously it was eye balling the centers. So your 4.750" seems to be the same.

Take reading from outer edge of ID to outer edge of ID and then subtract diam. of one hole. That will give you center to center.
Shouldn't this be in MM?
