Default Do you regularly use fuel injector cleaners in your M3?

I've never used them in my M before and I'm considering adding it to my maintenance regimen, but I've noticed many don't use it regularly with some even claiming that it can be harmful... Is it really necessary with relatively low mileage cars (mine is ~38k)?
For those that do use it, what kind of improvements do you notice? Gas mileage? Better performance?

Don't use anything. Change your oil and filters regularly and use quality gas. If you really want to do something special, send them to RC Engineering, but don't put that junk cleaner stuff in your car - same goes for sea foam, what a scam.

Since 1987 ALL injectors are self cleaning.

Re: self-cleaning injectors: Ovens have been self-cleaning since the 70s, tranny's have lifetime oil, and I've got some swampland in FL.
I use Techron from time to time. It is the product sold by VW, BMW, and others, and I've had *amazing* results from it in a couple of instances.
If you over use it, I know one very respected mechanic that claims his own over-use caused leaking injectors. I think a bottle every 10k is good, but check the bottle, AND, this is NOT a replacement for fuel filter changes or any other normal maint.

Most name brand gas contains detergents.

I would not use unless you had to do a few fill ups at no name stations.
