Anybody experienced this before? My drivers side window won't go down when I push the button. It goes up but not down. I noticed no matter if I push the button down or up, the window goes up. I think it might be an issue with the button or some kind of relay because I know it's not the window itself. When I open all windows with the key, it does go down. Any suggestions?? Can it be a fuse?

sounds like a faulty window switch, if its working by inserting the key and opening all the windows then closing it, that means the relay is OK, the only variable is your switch, change it out and see,

Sorry, but I've never had that issue before. But try disconnecting the battery for a while and reconnect. I've had some electrical issues before and that seemed to work. Good luck.

BMW has a general module that controls the windows. Could be your switch but sounds more like a module problem. Hard to say. GL

It is the power regulater on that window. I've had this problem on countless German vehicles. It will eventually sound like grinding going up and down and then it will just break.

I had that happen to me when I just bought the car. What had happened is the little pin on the bottom of the physical button you press had slipped out of it's place.
It normally pushes back to put the windows down and forward for up. It had popped up, so it could only roll the windows up. You might have the same issue. Worth checking out for a couple of seconds... Other than that it's either the relay, of something was spilled on the button and it doesn't work right... |

If the two switch connectors are the same you could use the other as a tester part.
I my cab they are different. The key in the door test is good. Hopefully you can narrow in down.
