Up for sale is my beloved 330Xi. I go this from my sister, who really did not take care of it as well as she should have, so I spent the majority of my time owning it doing random bits of maintenance. I got this car when it was around 108k miles, and right now, it is just about to hit 121k miles. I have since, done a complete tune up, and the car is now running on Royal Purple motor oil. This included changing oil, oil filter, air filter, cabin air filter, fuel filter, and spark plugs (currently running on Bosche Iridium +4). I checked all of the other fluid levels, and all seem fine.
This car originally came with a cassette player and a 6 CD in trunk player, but I have since installed a CD player unit in the front, meaning that the driver can not only play the 6 CDs placed in the trunk, but can also play an extra disc placed in the front. This car has the premium package, sport package, and cold weather package. This means that the front seats have warmers, the windshield fluid nozzles have warmers, has a sun roof, there are headlight cleaners, parking distance control, real leather, Xenon auto leveling headlights, tip-tronic transmission, auto-dimming rear view mirror, auto wiping windshield, and extended seats. In addition, the exterior has a set of Eagle Eyes LED taillights (Bad resistors probably, but it flickers sometimes) and a set of DEPO smoked clear corners/side markers. Now onto the bad, the shift knob is cracked, due to my sister's angry ring in cold weather, the steering wheel has a little bit of wear on the middle spoke (as a result, a little bit of white is exposed), the hood has pine cone glue on it, a small dent on the rear passenger side door, and a crease on the driver's door. No paint was chipped for this, but still, it is worth mentioning, as it really angers me every car wash. As far as the interior, not going to lie, it could use a good treatment from BMW's leather cleaner, but beyond that, there is no rips or holes in the material. Once scrubbed down, it should look good as new. It has the usual road rash for the car of its age. The only costly bit of damage that I can see that should be addressed is the driver's side rear quarter panel. My sister apparently had someone hit and run her, and she never bothered to get it repaired, do not ask me why, she just never bothered. The rear bumper itself is in great condition. I myself am in the transition of changing the key fob's battery, so if there is a buyer before I get the new key fob in, I will gladly do follow up service on replacing the battery. Oh and one nagging bit of information, (I'm sorry for adding random tidbits of info, I'm trying to tell the buyers of EVERYTHING that is wrong, so that there is no surprises down the road) some idiot made my car bite the curb, so the spare at the moment could use some repair, but it serves well as a spare, it's just a little ugly. This really made me angry. Beyond that, I have meticulously cared for this car, and attempted at fixing everything wrong with it. As far as the car overall, it runs great, and I still get compliments on it, seems as though I am the only one who cares to think about the flaws on the car. The car is a beautiful Stahl Blue, and the leather is Beige. Word of the wise, I will only sell this car to someone that I know will love it as much as I did, or more. So if you appear to be some kind of neglectful owner, I will simply refuse, no matter how much money is involved. This car is a beautiful car, and should be treated as such. "Daddy's little princess's 16th birthday gift" can just stop reading right now. Again, not to sound harsh, but I think that these cars deserve great care, and nothing less. Thanks! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Please forgive the different corner lights, some of the pics were taken before I got depo smoked corners, and some were taken after. I will take pics of anything requested on the car, thanks again! Asking price is $8,500 OBO. I am also looking to trade this and add cash for an M3, preferably 6 speed and not boston green (no disrespect to boston green M owners, I just can't love BG). Thanks! Paragraphs would help. Only read first sentence before eyes started hurting. GLWS.

I'm sorry, i should have bolded the price, it is currently $8.5K OBO. Thanks! M3Noob, I'd be more than happy to sell to you or anybody for that matter, but if you get the Xi for snowboarding trips, what does the wife get?

After I changed my brake pads, I noticed that the driver's side rear spring has snapped. So for now, this car is off the market until I can get this fixed. I'm debating between an OEM set (too costly) or a Tein H set (not much of a drop, but have to see if it's compatible with the Bilstein HD shocks). Stand by.
If anyone has any insight on a GOOD aftermarket spring set that doesn't have a drop (or is compatible with the Bilstein HD shocks) please DO chime in. |
