just found out who the owner is and turns out I do in fact know him. I met him a month ago when I was hanigng at Mid OH.

He races an E46 M3 sponsored by Tom Hatem in NASA. I made a thread about a month about that has a pic of that car in it. Basically, his car is maintained by probably the best BMW shop in all of central ohio



he owes me a cigarette....it was my last one....but it was well worth just shooting the **** with him after his race. He's a real cool guy

I saw one listed for 26k on ebay a couple years back. I don't think it was at the same level as this one though. It had no bids if I recall correctly.

Price is fair. I'd hit it if I had the cash to burn.

I know that two of them sold for $60,000 each and are now sitting in a warehouse in SD. But both had delivery miles on them only (less than 100).
