Default Anyone at 100k have to replace Clutch Slave cylinder?

I was in the process of getting my new clutch and flywheel installed, the clutch line, and slave cylinder was leaking pretty bad and my tech said that caused alot of the wear on the clutch. Anyone else have to replace these things?

Do you hear a squeak when you press down on the clutch (while the engine is off)?

I just want to find out if there is any correlation between the clutch squeak and a failing clutch slave cylinder.

It's either that or your pressure plate...

Mine had to be replaced this summer at ~ 105k miles after it completely went. The clutch pedal goes to the floor and there is no pressure in it. Get it replaced if you are already doing clutch work.

Just had mine go out, my car has only 43k but it's an 02 so I'm sure the seal went from old age.

I got mine replaced at 60k when they replaced the clutch and flywheel, and repaired the transmission which became stuck in 2nd gear.
