Just wondering what you guys consider to be the norm for getting the ears lowered.
I normally spend around $15 at a barber (including tip). But today I decided to change it up and went to a "salon". For the 20 minutes it took them to do my hair--and they did do an amazing job--$35 (including tip). Seems a bit much to me for what was a great but simple haircut. And they weren't even very nice.

my barber (over)charges $17, sends out monthly email coupons for $2 off, and I wind up giving them $20 either way
I also pay them $25 for something else

No worries, Ive had them since the age of 25 (thanks dad). Just above my ears and since I buzz the sides a #2 its not too noticeable. Beats being bald, no offense to the cue balls of the forum

Never was too anal about my hair, it always grows back fast and the style is simple enough anyone could cut it. Used to go to supercuts, but for the past few months ive been going to a kick ass barber shop. The shop has a pool table, arcade games and 4 flat screens (awesome during football season). Costs me $15 + $5 tip
