Default Radiator Question

Im getting ready to change up my radiator pretty soon, i was looking at Mishimoto or PWR aluminum radiators...as anybody had any experiences with these or any other type of aluminum radiator? since here in FL its always 90F or more, im figuring ill try to keep my engine as cool as possible. just wondering if its even worth the switch. Thanks

How much longer will you keep the car? A new OEM radiator will keep your car cooler then your current 6year old original one, and cost you very little in the process.

This, ill probably never sell since ive put alot into it and it would be a waste to sell it. Yeah, i agree on the OEM replacement, only reason why i thought about it is because here the heat is unbearable and im also F/I so, i really wanted to some input on this if its even worth it. The Mishimoto one is almost the same price as the OEM, ive read some reviews about fitments, and about the fans not hooking up correctly and all that. anyone can chime in on that?

Well since you are like me and will drive the car until the wheels fall off and gas gets to 100.00 a gallon...

Plus you are F/I...

I would suggest you replace with a larger capacity all aluminum radiator and if you really want to reduce temps you could add water wetter...

This is what I plan to install...

I made a similar thread to this already and found 1 member that installed the Mishi. According to him the fitment was horrible and had to do some major adjustments to make it fit.

I heard good things about Zionsville as well. That one does run around 1K but is a VERY nice radiator! I'll just have to wait and see what my budget is when I actually pull the trigger...

Nice find bro! that looks really good for the price as well. I just might jump on it. Now, from what i hear, replacing a radiator wont affect the tuning at all, only when u change to a lower degree thermostat right? is that even worth doing? i wonder if ESS can adjust the tuning to the 62 degrees

I haven't actually used it, but this company is popular with the club racers.

There is also a competition kit, but may be overkill for the street.
