So I want to customize my M3 a little. I'm gonna do a tri-stitched shift boot, tri-stitched e-brake boot, have the M logo embroidered on my headrest, have the M logo put on my key where the bmw logo is, and do a tri-stitched arm rest and M pedals. Of course I might do the M colored stripes (ala Vader seats) on the boots and arm rest instead, so something like this
But I was wondering what steering wheels were available. I would love to do this wheel, but it doesn't have any of the function buttons on it. Are there any of these with the function buttons on them? ![]() What other M stitched wheels are out? if they have the little m logo on the bottom that'd be great. Can someone post pictures of every sports wheel bmw made? I've looked a ton but have a feeling i've missed a few. m-tech wheels are great, and so are any wheels that are tri-color stitched. I also wanted to know if anyone had seen shifter surround replacements? i would love it if I could put something over my shifter that makes my shifter surround look round, like this (but obviously not smg) ![]() ![]() I don't know why it wouldn't be possible to have a piece snap into the tunnel where the shift boot goes, and then just have a ring go around the shift boot so that it looks round like in the picture, but I've never seen it. It would look just like that though, except it would still be 6 speed. And last, is it at all possible to get the E9x M3 side mirrors to fit on the E46 M3? I think the E9x M3 mirrors look so much cooler and I want them. Thanks guys! |

If I wanted to spend this much on a steering wheel, this is what I'd get: http://www.trademotion.com/partlocat...catalogid=4462
ZHP perforated leather wheel

The steering wheel you posted is for an E36 and has a single stage airbag. Places like EAS sell customized steering wheels for the E46, I think carbon fiber. I'd get the perforate leather one or just replace your stock wheel, it makes a big difference. Ask me how I know.
