Exclamation Odd problem with the M. Electrical/technical advice needed

So last night I was leaving to go to my GFs apartment, and I stopped at a car wash to get the dirt and snow out of my wheel wells. Anyhow when I went to drive away, I noticed the volume control on the steering wheel wasnt working. Odd I thought, so I hit the channel changer control...no response either. I hit the cruise control button...that works and the dash light illuminated for it. So I go to make a left turn, and the hit the blinker...no arrow lights flashing on the instrument cluster. Same with the high beams...no display. However my high beams and turn signals all work. I tried turning of the car to see if it would reset...nothing. Checked all the radio and instrument cluster fuses today and they were fine. I was looking through my bentley manual and think it may be the switch inside the steering column for that side of the steering wheel but im not so sure. Any ideas or advice would help. Im not freaking out about it as everything still functions but I tend to use those controls alot so Im kind of at an inconvenience. Thanks fellas

Do you have an Ipod integration unit in your car?

Car fixed itself...started it just now and the switches work. Maybe there was a loose fuse when I pulled them out. Thanks guys
