Default F80/F82 M3 horsepower, torque, and curb weight predictions

Taken from my other post:

For F80/F82 M3:
Torque: 400 ft/lbs
Curb weight: 4500 lbs

and for reference

(US models)

E30M3->E36M3 (48hp increase)

E36M3->E46M3 (93hp increase)

E46M3->E92M3 (81hp increase)

I would hope it would be at least a 60hp increase over the E92

The E60 M5 had 500hp while the E92 M3 had 414hp so if going off the new F10 M5 with a hp rating of 560, the new F80 M3 should have somewhere in the ballpark of 475hp and thats my prediction

Any others that would like to throw out some predictions?

The new M3 is predicted to have at least 450 hp to the crank, with almost that in torque (its f-ing turbo charged, torque for days lol) and it should be lighter than the E9xx series M cars,

So..

F80 M3
HP ~ 450 BHP
TQ ~ 450 ft/lbs
Curb Weight ~ 3500 lbs (I hope)

with the new Carbon Fiber factory in Wash., hopefully this holds true and they are able to slap more CF parts on the M3 while maintaining price

Please, dear GOD, no more carbon fiber pieces. Don't you think the kids put enough carbon fiber on these things? 85% of all M3s look cheap as hell now. People with no taste are just f-ing these cars up. If you need more cf pieces, then just don't post pics of yours. That should be a rule around here, haha.

My numbers were based off this:

E30M: 192bhp
E36M: 240bhp
E46M: 333bhp
E92M: 414bhp

I was trying to show the hp increases from each generation M3 to the next based on US models and engines only. I dont think I made a miscalculation did I?

So you chose the weakest e36M for your predictions? That engine was not what the ///Mgineers meant to be in there...
