I've been meaning to make this for a while and will post up what ever work, problems, events, and photos in here.
Right now the goal is to keep a nice compromise between being able to auto x/track/and drive on the street (not as comfortably as some would like) when the weather permits. Slowly tuning and maintaining to perform more in the first two aspects. ![]() engine/transmission Jim Conforti 3" intake OBD 2 Midpipe Rogue cat back Oil pump nut welded AKG 80A motor mounts Rogue trans mounts AKG stage 3 shifter AKG DSSR AC and engine fan delete JBR 10lb ltw flywheel Clutchmaster's stage 1 organic AKG poly Diff bolt bushing 3.23 diff w/ new clutches Eventually plan an S54 swap Cooling Mishimoto radiator Euro coolant reservior Zionsville radiator fan shroud 16" spal fan custom sheet metal radiator baffle 80C thermostat Aluminum thermostat housing Suspension/Brakes every single bushing and ball joint has been replaced with oem other than specified AST 4100's 600 lb 6" hyperco front springs 750 lb 5.5" hyperco rear springs Eibach front swaybar Vorshlag camber plates w/ slim race bearings Front subframe reinforced with AKG pieces and powdercoated Rear subframe reinforced/boxed with AKG pieces and powdercoated Rogue rear shock mounts w/ "track" high durometer bushing Mason front strut brace X-brace SPC control arms w/ limiters Vorshlag rtab limiters Powerflex rear subframe bushings Performance friction 06 pads brass caliper guides Bimmerworld stainless lines generic blank oem rotors Gruvenparts backing plates brake cooling ducts Exterior Carbon fiber sunroof delete panel painted Avus blue Motion motorsport underpanel Depo 55W 5000K headlights clear corners, side markers, tail lights Fog blanks Vorshlag 90mm Front/75mm Rear studs SSR comps 18x9 +30F +42R 255/35 Dunlop Star Specs Interior originally dove -> now black Kirk 4 pt roll bar powdercoated silver Schroth profi II Cobra Suzuka Gt seats VAC side mounts black Evosport floor mounts black Personal neo grinta 330mm w/ blue stitching Momo hub w/ adapter ring to fit Personal wheel VDO water temp gauge Deka ETX30L battery (20 lbs) no sound deadening gutted from carpet back complete stereo delete w/ harness and speakers Fluids Red Line 10W40 Motul Gear 300 Amsoil 75w90 Motul RBF 600 Weight is about 2800 lbs w/o me and a 1/2 tank. Thanks guys!
Biggest thing I plan to do is just keep attending as many events as possible. I saw in the Apex wheels photo thread that they are working on a completely new designed 18x9.5 ET43 which has me super excited because that gives the ability to run 265/35's on an e36 which is what I am really looking for. I would really love to increase mechanical grip and keep suspension tuning the car as much as possible before adding any aero, etc.

I'm reading over the tech list and agree with every change you've made to the car. This looks like one of the best bang-for-the-buck competition cars I've seen.

ugly.
the clutch disk was definitely on it's last leg and very thin. ![]() before ![]() during ![]() after ![]() JBR flywheel ![]() clutchmaster's stage 1 ![]() coolant line set up before ![]() coolant line set up after. new knock sensors also went in. ![]() I'll put up more tomorrow of the hose routing and expansion tank. After 80 miles the clutch is breaking in very nicely and is really smoothing out from the first drive. I can honestly say it feels stock but with the added revability of the jbr flyweel. Can't wait to really have some fun once it is all broken in another 420 miles. Euro expansion tank is awesome in that bleeding is too easy now. Coolant level is also more visible.
