Normally i use meguars tire shine, but i tried this stuff today and WOW.
I read reviews before buying and everyone agrees. Be careful you don't overspray on your rim, as i heard it's a ***** to get off. http://www.turtlewax.com/tirewheelhu...lack-tire-coat

In the video it looks like the stuff goes everywhere, how do you avoid getting on your rims and body?

I might try this, maybe when I'm out of Optimum Opti-Bond - which itself is a product I have no complaints with

Its pretty easy to control the stream of spray from the can. Its mostly direct. If your good you can just about not get the rim.
I just bought the tuf shine kit also....i heard great stuff on that as well.

Sounds like you could just use a can of clear coat and get the same results... What kind of company advertises a product on a dirty, pile of crap, Grand Prix?
Sorry but I'm not buying that this is a good product. A good clean sidewall with a low sheen tire shine is best. ![]() |

I've been using this stuff for years. It's cheap, lasts a good while and easy to apply. After using it a couple times you really get the hang of how to spray to avoid spraying onto your wheel and body.

I still have my doubts about an aerosol-based tire application, especially since I've used so many proven gel/liquid products in the past

I agree, aerosol is messy and I usually spray mine into an applicator pad first. But how do you feel about a product that needs a marble in the can to mix and is a pain to get off other surfaces... this sounds like clear coat paint and a bunch of suckers are buying it.
