Default Does this happen to anyone else...

First off, I want to say hi to everyone here@m3forum.net. I'm the proud owner of an '02 Imola/Imola 'vert as of a month ago and absolutely love every aspect of the e46 M3. This board has tons of valuable info from fellow enthusiasts, and I can spend hours on end reading.
Now for my question. Does anyone else encounter overly aggressive douchebags driving anything from Dodge Caravans to Toyota Camrys to Mazda Proteges that insist on blowing past you, cutting you off and generally acting like idiots on the road?? Ages range from 16 y/o in moms Sentra to 30 y/o in their minivans, to 60 y/o in their base Imprezas. Ever since I got my M, I've had one of these morons daily acting up all over Southern Ontario. I DO NOT invite this behavior as I do the limit and drive the car on the street the same as I drive my '98 323is, which is in a safe and responsible manner. There's a time and a place to drive spirited, and the city's streets isn't one of them.
Is it just me?

I find people respond the same way whether I drive the 330Ci or the M3... maybe you're just being overly sensitive? No diea

Glad you're enjoying the M and welcome to the forums!

Ever since I got the M, I definitely feel that people next to me at red lights are more inclined to give it a little more gas off the start. It's silly because a lot of these are just normal cars that have econobox motors in them, but they still do it.

Haha, I get this sh!t all the time! Lining up to get on the freeway doesn't mean lining up for the drag strip, lol. I would have the give alot of gas pedal to keep up with alot of people just taking off from the redlights. Anywere from stock Honda Accords with middle aged women driving, to stupid kids in thier Golf, I notice it all the time...Lol...And I, like you, drive normal!!!

Nor do I. The problem I have is that they can't keep up the 1st light and don't even try the 2nd light

It's not so much a challenge of a drag at a light. I just ignore that garbage. Its while doing 60kph on the street or 100-110 on the highways. I see them charge hard then blow past and then they're all over the brakes once they're ahead...
