Default Exhaust Gurus, Get in Here v. various mods and their effect on exhaust sound

Ok guys, i've been wondering this for a while. I'm still running stock but I need to do something. The problem is, i'm not sure which of the various parts of the exhaust, when changed, produce which specific change in sound.

For example, i've heard a supersprint race on an otherwise stock car and its little more than an exaggerated OEM sound x 11ty. I'm looking for more of a deep growl while keeping the rasp and wild scream our s54's are famous for up top.

Hopefully we can get some good info in here (or im horrible at searching and this has been done once a month since the forum started)
