Default 2001 M Roadster, 6th S54 roadster made. Estoril, 42k, $19,500 obo

If you looked closely at these pictures you noticed this cars VIN ends in 80005. This is the 6th BMW M Roadster to be built with an S54 engine (S54 VINs started with 80000.)

It is Estoril Blue with 2 tone Estoril/Nappa interior, has front airbags, air conditioning, cd player, cruise control, DSC, heated windshield washer nozzels, Harmon Kardon stereo, limited slip differential, power & heated seats, power windows, and electric top.

I have owned this car for 3 years and have put 10,000 miles on it. It drives and handles like a dream and needs nothing. I have only needed to put a battery in it, and change the oil every spring at my local BMW dealership. They have always used BMW synthetic oil. The paint of the front bumper splitters is damaged from the previous owner bumping a parking curb, but the damage is very minimal so I never bothered to fix it figuring that with driving the car, it will just get nicked up again.

As of 10-30-10 the car has 42,100 miles, but with a few more nice days this fall, it could have more at the date of sale. Every time I see a 2001 M Roadster come up on Autotrader, its priced at 22,000 to 25,000, some with many more miles than this car. I am asking $20,500 obo because I feel that is the realistic value of these cars. In fact, I probably wouldn't sell it, but I want a convertible I can put tons of miles on, and being 6'4" long rides in the roadster get uncomfortable for me.

I may be interested in trades, something along the lines of an M3, S4, Mini Cooper S convertibles so let me know if you have something interesting. Feel free to email me with any questions, or picture requests.
