im saying its the PO because i have only had my car for less than a week, and in that week....its finals study week for my college, so the farthest I have driven in my car is to the gas station (2 miles away) and to my mechanics garage (3 miles away). if I dented the exhaust I have no reason to lie about it and say its the previous owner..but I did not dent it...so yea thanks for the helpful post.....and if you were being facetious, my bad, its kinda hard to tell on a forum the context of someones statement...cheers brah

If it were my car, I'd hack that pipe in half right after those dents, use an exhaust pipe expander and some light taps with a hammer, perhaps a torch as well, to get the pipe round again, mount it all up to the car and tack weld it in place with everything fully bolted up/tight. Then remove the midpipe or let it drop down a bit and weld up the cut.
Shouldn't take more than an hour and a half. |
