Default Inspection II Rave

Hey Everyone...
Just thought I would share a note on anyone who is waiting to get their inspection II done, and didnt buy the car with 0 on the meter.

I got mine about year ago with 55K on it...Fell in love with it the day my foot touched the gas...and even more in love the first exit I took at 65 mph, and the M just wanted me to push it a little more.

Anyway, Last week, got the inspection II done at an indy shop. And all I can say is.... O M G. I thought the car was a beast when I got it.

So anyone thinking about putting off the Inspection....Get it Done I think the transmission fluid change made a hell of a difference.

Oh on a price note... Local BMW quoted me 1750 for the complete service, which had the valve adjustment included "if needed" . The Indy shop had me out the door with all OEM fluids at 850 bucks. If anyone needs info for the local DC/MD area, drop me a note.

Now that I have the engine taken care off....time to put the money towards mods

Just curious what is it in the insp. 2 that made the car run so much better? It is probably quieter and smoother, but unless many of the valves were way off and the plugs are bad, I can't imagine it would make that much differences....

Sorry guys...I thought I did..
Dan Martins up in Gaithersburg.

@nihs350...Bro, Im not sure either. I dont think my valves were off at all. He actually did the cold test in front me. Whatever it was, was to do with the transmission. I was getting some jerkiness when shifting (SMG) usually in lower gears (not associated with cold oil ). Now the M shifts way way way way more smoothly.
There are plenty of experts here who would be able to get a much better explanation than me. I just know Im enjoying it way more !!!

$850 out the door for OEM fluids/parts/labor is one heck of deal...I just purchased OEM parts/fluids for $425 shipped. They must have a very low labor rate. Enjoy the next 50k!
