Check your owners manual, more than likely it is on a small card about the size of a business card, dropped in with all your paperwork. If you don't have it, go to the dealer service center and tell them your battery died and your radio no longer works. Bring your VIN# , make, model and year written on a piece of paper, ask real nice if someone can help you out. VIN # is located on the drivers side top dash next to the windshield, or on the drivers door. Also look in your manual on how to enter the code. Once you have all this information, you are making there job really easy, and they sometimes wont charge you. Be prepared to pay if they charge. If you don't want to go to the dealer you can try the links below. Make sure your radio does not have RDS on the display (read all the instructions) with this website. Good Luck

To a certain extent it depends where you buy them. Dealer prices can be very high, but if you're a member of the BMW Car Club of America (BMW CCA), then many dealers offer a discount. If you plan on buying a lot of parts then talk to the parts manager about getting you set up with a discount. An entrepreneurial parts manager will be happy to accommodate you, especially if there's another BMW dealer in town where you can take your business.
There are also online sources that offer much better prices on many items than the dealer, such as Zygmunt Motors, RM European and others. They can be very competitive for parts like filters, brake pads, etc. Buildings and Contents Insurance factoring companies It's the same on service, too. Find a good independent BMW shop, especially for when your car is out of warranty, and you'll likely get a much better deal, and even better quality work (especially work on older cars) than from the dealer. |

Here's what we're talking about: If you go to your local BMW dealer and give them your VIN, it can print the maintenance of your car. Everything that has ever been made to this and all BMW dealers. However, the history of service contains a large number of numerical codes rather than a written explanation. You do not have to enter these codes to learn what work had been done. If you do not already have these codes, web sites and lists to explain not make you much good.
