Default ae led taillights question!:(

HI EVERYONE!, i have a question regarding the outer ring leds on my EE taillights, I have a vert and bought some eagle eye led taillights, i want to know if theres a way for my outer ring lights to work with my break lights and no, im not talking about the adaptive brake light function. Theres a diy for the outer ring to light up when breaking and its by tiger dave and ian... but it only applies to OEM led taillight, im sure that the similar method by ian applies to my ee taillights what changes are wires that need to be cut and connected, dont know which wire i need to cut and connect to if anyone can guide me step by step that would be greatly apprecited! has anyone done this mod to their Eagle Eye Led taillight? thanks
note:sorry i ment ee led taillights on the title, not ae, unable change it

Default Re: ae led taillights question!:(

*** Yo dsmer310 Im in the same situation. Maybe one option would be locate the outer LED on the harness (it may be a blank slot)... then get a multimeter to find voltage for those outer LEDs then figure out a way to send 12v power to it. just like the "tigerdave mod". Im no electrician but that is pretty much what the tigerdave mod is, its just EE LED tails have a way different harness with resistors etc...
