OP: can you show more steps (I'd understand if you don't have more pics since you've already done this) of how it's completed?

Given this, is there enough room on existing microphone cover to mount 1 or 2of these on either side of the microphone? Solves buying the additional part, and shuts up the CF nay-sayers
