LED Trunk lights? Hrm ...

ok, did some more research, and i got this part #

63217165973 BULB CARRIER LEFT
63217165974 bulb socket, right

I got them from Tischer's package here: http://www.trademotion.com/partlocat...catalogid=4462

I searched the part #'s and thats what i got. Can anyone actually verify before i order them from a bmw stealer?

Im in the same situation as you. lol
Also, did you also install the updated 03.5-up trunk lip lights?
I am wondering if I am going to need the bulb carrier for those coming from a 01-03.

Do you have OEM LED tail lights? The trunk light carriers are different for the two different OEM versions.

OEM LED tail light conversion kit w/ part no.;

ill go pull the PN from the trunk lights just to be sure!

you also need the wiring harness for them as well, i believe it was $50 for both of them!

So If I want to get the upgraded trunk lights I also have to get the matching carriers and a harness adapter?

Yes I got OEM Led's. I dont see a part # for the inner trunk light carriers in the link you supplied. It shows the outers, outer covers, cableset, and trunk lights only. unless they come with the trunk lights?

Outer lights are your tail lights. Inner lights are your fog/reverse lights. Your trunk lights attach to the back of your outer tail lights. You reuse the existing bulb holders for the inner lights. The trunk light unit should be; (Left & Right Bulb Sockets (63217165973-974))

The part #'s from tischer's site is for the holegen carriers not the LED carriers.
Anyone know where to order these?

I actually just ordered some bulbs. I'll try to take some pictures of the lighting with the old bulb (yellowish tint) and then led bulbs (white). Not sure if it's going to be brighter, but we'll see.
