Thanks... This kit from http://www.emiata.com/BMW.htm will work on the M3? I got a reply back from emiata which stated it should. Don't want to take it all apart to find out it wont work.

You can actually repair if the thread is out that holds the other side of the zipper in...I did this last year to one that had a nice rear window that was falling out. It took several hours, and you must use an upholstery grade thread. You would want to use a curved needle, and you can actually get most it through the original holes pretty easily to keep alignment correct. Once I finished up the stitching, I added in a lot of glue around the edges to support the glue and keep the tension off of it... |
