Can you please tell me your setup on the smg gearbox?
Clutch/Pressure plate?
OEM SMG software or aftermarket?
Any modified internals to gearbox, spring, actuator, etc...?

Also what is your redline set at?

I was always under the impression that they are BBS Motorsport E28s which are currently made to order by BBS Motorsport. Construction being a cast center in a magnesium alloy, and spun inner and outer aluminum barrels... same as what I've seen in the Loaded CSL specs describing the 'GT splits'... (specifically sand-cast magnesium, which makes it one of their race wheels by default). The one question mark in my mind is that the spokes seem to have a 'kink' to them in profile nearing the outer portion of the center that is deviant from a normal E28.

The LM is a street wheel. The E28, like the E26 (which I have) and the big-daddy E88 (machined forged aluminum center) are from the BBS Motorsport division and are part of their race wheel lineup.

*Edit- looks like the "GT-split" may have been a race wheel discontinued in 2006. Perhaps filled in by the E28 as its closest current-production wheel? Did the "GT-split" have a BBS "E" code that you recall? The E28 also went through a number of sub-model evolutions to present... feasible that your "GT-split" is one of the many versions of E28 evolved through its production?
