I'm just doing autocross. It's a vert, so I can get into any track events or HPDE.

I wasn't suspecting to see much for gains, thought it would be worth asking though.

a) weight of car, if known; unknown, E46 M3 w/no weight-savings except for wheels

b) suspension; AST 4100, 600F/650R

c) camber; -2F (street), -3F (track), -1.9R

d) toe; 0" front (street), goes "out" a bit at track camber. 1/8" in rear.

e) tire/wheels; MT1, 18x9.5 et35, 12mm spacer rear / 5mm spacer front (for extra strut clearance). 265/35 Star Specs.

f) skill level (solo, instructor, neophyte, etc); pretty decent intermediate

g) your thoughts on your current setup; and Will update after this weekend on track - first time I've used it

h) what your car is set-up for, track or autocross, or both. Track, and is also used a little bit for DD

Question - most of the heavily negative camber setups I see in here are with R-comp tires, is -3deg in front too much for a street tire like the star spec, or just right?

your spring rates seems to be a little high for street tires.

Smile Re: Alright track/autox junkies: let's have'em

Weight: Stock plus...added about 20 pounds low in the rear for tire trailer hitch.

Alignment: I measure "old school" with string and also with toe-in gauge. Front is 1/2 degree toe-out, rear is 1/4 degree toe-in. Camber is 2 degrees negative front, have not measured back.

Wheels: Street and autocross wheels are OEM 19 inch with 8 inch rims in front, 9.5 inch in back. Hankook Ventus V-12 245s on front, 275s on rear. For track I use OEM 18 inch wheels, 9 inch front and rear with 275 Continental race slicks.

Experience: Have been autocrossing for 23 years. Used to time-trial and now getting back into it. Autocross level: Instructor, have competed at National level in Corvette Z06. Track level: Intermediate--no ride-along instructor, but not going to go pro!
