Default Rear Swaybar reinforcements

I'm about to order a set, and have heard that the AKG plates are the "best".

I'm assuming its the third product down:
http://www.akgmotorsport.com/catalog...0Reinforcement

but I fail to see the significance of the small additional tabs that make it a four-piece set, and distinguishes it from the other varieties by bimmerworld and turner.

BW:

and Turner:

both look beefy to me, so just trying to understand why the AKG design is better.

However, the AKG's are half the price of the other two

It boxes the sway bar tab instead of just adding an additional wall to the tab.

I am pretty sure those little tabs are on the bottom. See the red arrow.

AKG probably gets a lot of lift from quantities which allows them to be less expensive.

yea those are the tabs for sure and i see that it boxes in the area... just having trouble visualizing the anatomy of that in conjunction with the swaybar and how the forces are dispersed.

anyone actually run this four-piece kit?

that's that then. considering you've prolly single handedly dealt with more e36 rear subframes than any single homo sapien.

hopefully RRT will know where to weld those two additional triangular pieces and how to do it properly.

I haven't done the job myself yet, but a few tack welds to get everything settled should be the extent of any special procedures before lying down the final welds. I don't see needing any fancy jigging or supports.

I put them in. Even on my phone they look thicker. Thicker and cheaper, what's not to like??
