Where have you found these for 200? Plus core charge and shipping I presume...?

Blunt Tech...

Send him an email, he will source what you're looking for. I bought a Z3 rack for my girlfriends E36 M3 for around $450... then when I send the core back I'd get 150 back.

Is that is username? Can't seem to find it. Could you PM his email to me. No one seems to have these in stock and don't know when they'll get them.

So z4mc is the ideal rack... What about the standard z4? What's that ratio?

What other racks would be a good step up?

From this thread, I understand this: z4mc rack (best) and 330 rack (better)... Anything else?

I ask because Ican get a z4m roadster rack for a good price... But of course I'd prefer the z4mc.

Based on the threads and research I had done, here is what the conclusions I have drawn are.

1. If you want a toss able car the 330i ZHP rack with new end rods is the best option.
2. If you want a higher speed stability car with some minor improvements, the ZCP (competition rack / CSL) is the best option.

Cost for them based on NEW is the same. Used you can be same or lower still. I decided to go Competition as I want a some minor improvements but high speed stability.

Steering rack is a personal taste so take the summary as you wish.

Will E92 M3 steering rack (12,5:1) fit E46 M3? It looks pretty close. And it much easier to find one for a reasonable price.
