Default Ess vt2 500 kit

Hello,

I am looking to buy the ess 500 kit but I am looking for more info and advice from peoplle that have had experince with this kit.

Do you suggest changinh the cams and pistons? If so which schrick cams are the best?
What kind of power can I expect as I dont want to get disapointed..

My engine has alot of km but I changed the rod batinhs, done pretty much everything maintanance wise, compression test shows perfect and the car survivedbthe ultimate test , 5 days of tracking at the nurburgring, 3 laps in a row and 50 laps alltogether without any single issue of overheating or anything else...

So can you lease tell me what are you thoughts as I want a track day car, not only to go fast on straights...

Thank you

I would ask this in the FI section.

Also, call ESS and speak to Asbjorn. He's really helpful and can answer all of that for you.

Just sent you a quick PM about the headers, might as well talk to you over PM about the ESS kit too

I've taken my car to the track with the ESS kit. It held up well. I have no complaints so far.

How much power do you want?
Have you done subframe reinforcement?

I think a stock motor with the VT-500 kit will be plenty for you. I would start with that and go from there.
