Default Just installed, and am loving the use of: BMW Performance knob and alcantara boot:)

Install took all of, literally two minutes. And the knob height/weight etc feels much more natural to me than the gigantor broomstick this thing had in it previously. The alcantara on the knob itself i extremely nice feeling. Also the alcantara boot matches the zcp interior much better than the black leather that came with it. Not sure why the factory didn't set it up that way from the beginning. cant get photos to post on here for some reason, all I get is a black square, or tons of code that does nothing... so here's the adress.. ugh.

EDIT: lets see if this helps...

SUCCESS! Thanks guys!

I had issues with Flickr as well. I've been using Photobukcet with no issues since.

Very nice. I had the ZHP knob in my old E46, and I was planning on buying another for the ///M. But I'm starting to really like this one just because it's different.

Can anyone comment on the durability of this knob? I use my car as a DD so I'm worried it'll look like crap in a year or so...

That's because Flickr don't want you doing it that way - you can still get around it though.

You just need to select the size photo you want so you get to the "All Sizes" page. When you get the size you want, right click the picture and select "Copy Image Address" or the equiv. That gives you the .jpg link. Paste that into the image tags and you're good to go.

Thank you! I'll give this a try and see if I can't edit this post.

Also, I use mind as a dd, and had the same concern initially, obviously I don't know from experience yet how it'll hold up over time but I must say after feeling the alcantara in the hand etc, it feels denser and more robust than that of say, a seat, and seems like it'll hold up well. Time will tell.

Congrats! I have the same setup on my ZCP but paired it with the 330d shift lever. Much improved shifting. The alcantara matches the steering wheel well.

Just picked it up from turner motorsport, altogether around 170. Looked in the fs section here for a while but couldn't hold out any longer and jst pulled the trigger.
