Great thread! I just bought my first M3 (2006) 2 weeks ago. I live in Seattle and I'd like to install a hardtop in the fall. Where should I look to find a hardtop? CL and EBay?

just got my hardtop couple of months ago, is it ok if i leave the hardtop all the time, thinking for a while, i like the looks on it, lol, is the motor of the soft top will break for not using it.

I am working to resync the top on my 03 M3 I dont know how to get out or how much trunk liner to get out to access the motor to reset it? I'm not experienced with using this type of site so I don't know how to access the information that may be able to give me the answers I am looking for Thanks Keith

Anyone have any tips for how to most easily diagnose where my hydraulic system is leaking? I keep topping up the fluid in my pump, and it works fine for about 10-20 top open/close cycles, then starts whining and groaning again as fluid disappears... except I can't seem to figure out where it's going. I don't see any puddles or mess anywhere.
Also - the little squarish piece that is spring loaded and comes up when the top goes down broke. Specifically, the hole that the spring hooks into is now a sliver down to the bottom so the spring just pulls out. Is that fixable (with a super glue or something)? Or should I not even bother and just replace the piece? I can't find the p/n for it (so hard to figure out what things are called or what category they're in) but I seem to recall it being absurdly expensive.
