Hi!
I need some advise on the following: 1. What is the best place to get checkered flag decal for the hood corner? I have an Estoril Blue, so would like some recommendations. 2. I want to replace the chrome trimmed grill with good quality black ones. However, I would like to get grills that don't bulge outside the bodylines unlike the OEM ones (I hope you understand what I am referring to). Do they make ones like that? Thanking you in anticipation. |

1. Just say no. This really looks fugly, tacky and ricey on other than white, and even then it is on the edge (yeah, it came on the LTW, but so what). If you want to do it anyway I have seen white/gray checks which will likely work much better on blue.
2. The inset grills like those on the 95 will not fit properly in the later version nose panel. You would have to replace the nose panel to make them work right. Not worth it. Get black face-lift versions as they will fit, even if they are black. As for where to get these items you would likely have better luck over on BF.c as that type of thing is big over there. |

The truth is the truth, smarty pants! In the last couple of years, both as a lurker and as a posting member, I can not recall a single post about getting the flag, and since I have no life I am on here quite a bit.
I would imagine the grills would be easy to find. In any case, I am sure either a google search or a BF.c search will yield the results he is looking for. ![]() |
