That's normal its should be switching back and forward between 0 and 1v.

So is this your car or fire?

My car is still misbehaving, i checked everything and still nothing, i had the camshaft sensor pop up once or twice during the engine read-out am going to check the ohms on those to make sure its still working, would that be a symptom of having a camshaft position sensor going out ?

Never seen a camshaft cause mixture fault. How does the car run? How did you check to make sure you didn't have any air leaks?

By doing a smoke test, i paid $90 per session, first session my valve cover was leaking smoke, replaced it with a brand new cover and second session absolutely no leaks, still had to pay for that. My car threw a couple of shadow codes and the camshaft position sensor was one of the codes, it appear like three times after deleted, it has never appeared again, driven the car for 300 miles and the camshaft code hasnt returned.

it takes at least three to four cranks to start my car when engine is cold, engine sometimes stalls...

"am thinking camshaft sensors are emission related ? due to this quote ?"

Quote:
Your fuel injection computer (DME) may output a code that indicates a faulty camshaft position sensor (CPS). This important sensor tells the car’s computer where the engine is in its rotation with respect to the combustion cycle. The DME takes the signals from the cam position sensor and crankshaft position sensor, and calculates when to fire the fuel injectors and spark plugs. If the camshaft position sensor is not operating properly, your car will run very erratically or perhaps not at all

Yes you can. Or even an aftermarket obdII scanner.

They do have a value, it's 0.

It's 0 because you've never achieved closed loop.

You've never gotten to closed loop because your O2 voltages are pegged.

You're spending too much time looking for unrelated issues (smoke test, cam sensor) that have nothing to do with your problem.

You need to fix the o2 sensor voltage problem that the DME is seeing...

How did you rebuild the engine if you only took the cylinder head off?

Here's what those values are for:

brichter, thanks for pointing that out to me.. i rebuilt the cylinder head, replaced the head gasket, along with oxygen sensors, spark plugs, i will re-focus my efforts to closing the loop in the oxygen sensor, i know i have to break out the multi-meter and start testing their values and chasing the lines, the oxygen sensor has four pins... do know what the combination pin is and what values am suppose to get for testing ?
