I was told by a pontiac owner at the car wash that I should get variable valve timing installed on my car. And to tune for an intake he suggested touching my positive terminal to the ground. That among many other stupid things said.

Just last year I got "is that brand new?" answer, no, it hasn't even come out yet.

and "did you have it painted that color?" answer, no, a smurf did it.

Dumbest thing I ever heard was actually on a this forum.

I love the look and motor of the E90 M3s and think the E46 M3 is the most beautiful ///M car ever.

I had finally decided to get an E90 M3 sedan but was concerned about size and weight. When the time came to purchase my M3, the 1M came out and after agonizing, I decided to go with the 1M. I still have great respect and admiration for all M3s and since the 1M shares many components, I still follow this thread......then it happened..several people saying, the 1M 'was not a "real //M car."

That's my dumbest thing ever said about my car.

Because it's not...it has a regular x35is engine with some M3 suspension parts...hell of a drive though ;-)

when i just got my e46 m3
friends- why does it sound like a dirtbike?
friends- for 20k you should of got a fully built honda
My neighbor-its a nice car but its old you should of bought an r8.
