Sorry for the lack of updates here. Much has happened to the M3 in recent months (new wheels, audio system overhaul to include new wiring, etc) and once I get her properly detailed, I'll post some pics.
In the meantime, I thought I'd share something that took me forever to find: a headunit that not only looks and sounds great, but also can match the OEM amber color scheme. I'll post some day shots in a bit, until then, enjoy....... Last edited by M3only; Sat, Jul-14-2012 at 04:58:43 AM. |

great thread! appreciate all the part numbers along with the work since I've got to do some of this work soon.
Are those NGK plugs really better than the Bosch four bladed plugs bmw recommends? |

Nah, it's time to part ways and get a 46M.

Followed Braymond's instructions to fix the dark spot issue that's common on the E36's. For what it's worth, I tried the other way with repositional glue prior to Braymond's post and the results weren't nearly as good. Thanks Braymond!
Couple of shots (unfortunately I did not take any prior to fixing it): Pre-ring install...... Post ring install..... Post Braymond's instructions......... |

Sold the ASA's. For those of you who may be considering this wheel, they look great and the weight isn't too bad. For the price, they are hard to beat. Couple of pics of the old set up (prior to fixing the low hanging exhaust):
How the ASA's offset looked....pretty good! (old headlights in prior to removal) Best shot of the car with the ASA's on it: |
