HI! My friend have a E46 M3 and the next summer , he want to make some pass to the drag strip. I've a set of drag radial mounted on Oem '98 camaro wheel that i think it will maybe fit on his car. does anyone have tried this before and does it works safely?

I do not think so, the bmw bolt pattern is 5x120

Isn't going to work. You'll need a center bore of 72.56 and the bolt pattern needs to be 5x120 exactly. Might want to look into another wheel my friend.

16s are a very tough fit on e46 M3. I know a couple fit, but its unlikely that a wheel not made to squeeze over the large brakes would work. (the deal breaker)
The lugs should be 5x120.0 - a small difference, but some will say this matters - I am not sure. (could be fixed with adapter) I believe the bore is wrong too. (would need machining) The offsets are pretty unaggressive - might even rub the suspension on the back. (could be fixed with spacer) So, short answer is no. |
