V6? You got something we don't know about?

Toying with the idea of when the V8 engines start popping up, it would be a definite project of mine.

To keep story short, 2nd gear almost even, 3d gear up top the E92 pulled a car on me and in 4th it started pulling away , when I went from 4th to 5th gear it was 4-5 cars ahead and pulling...I was alone, the E92 had a passenger!

I just bought an AA stage II kit old generation that should make +100whp . my goal is to stay ahead of and E92 M3 then I will be happy!

I have done alot of pulls lately and the E92 is one fast car !
hmm, and when you did your pulls, what mods did you have done??

I know i know, i love the E46 as a whole car much more im just wondering with my bolt ons if i was close to a E92. Im going to do somthing in the future, Sc or turbo, but im running the car n/a for a while.

I agree i do not like the design of the new M's do much, thats why i got the last yr of the E46 m3.

And FYI we have an inline 6 not a V6

V8 in a E46 you mean? Its interesting i guess, just would kill the resale. Id rather just go F/I and it would be better IMO

plain and simple, no. I had all those mods and the fastest car i ever pulled on trapped 111 mph. you wont keep up with an e9X which trap 112-113 on average.

Yeah I have driven both, I see how the e9x M3 is slightly faster, but the lack of torque in the entire band makes the car not feel that exciting. Simply put the e46 seems like it wants to be driven in anger like the e30, the e9x M just does not feel as rewarding.
