Default Baby Stroller in our trunk

Hi Guys,

The wife and I are starting to look for baby strollers and I was hoping to get any tips from you guys that have been through this as to which types you would recommend/not recommend. Do certain ones fit better in our trunks than others?

I think that right now the wife wants either a bugaboo or Peg Perego.

Any suggestions?

How old is your baby? We use a lightweight Maclaren that has been used and abused, taken on several plane trips and survived 2 children.

-1....These cars are great for kids. I sold my '04 coupe when we had our first, got something 'more practical', when in reality it was 'more boring' than anything else. One thing led to another and I had a few different rides/hobbies, but I am now full circle and in an M again, and our first is 3 and we have one on the way. I take our first to daycare every day, and she loves it - and I love it b/c it is safe if you are in a crash, it is good at avoiding crashes, and it is easy to get her in and out....and oh, yeah....it is a hoot to drive as well.

I've got a 2 year old and a 2-month old... YIKES!

Prepare to leave your life behind....

Getting the kids in and out of the back is a major PITA. But a 'vert is probably much better for this with the top down!

Maclaren makes great lightweight folders, couldn't recommend them more highly.

We also use a big Britax Vigour and Companion modular system for the little baby. This setup is awesome for it's quality and convenience, but it is big!

Both will fit in my coupe's trunk, barely.

Good luck!

Greg
