Will Vinyl Stripes leave anything?
Hello all,
I'm looking to pick up this car but before I did I wanted to ask if anyone thinks these vinyl strips will leave anything on the paint or if the paint will show any fading? The owner put these stripes a year ago and has hand washed the car since. http://www.cars.com/go/search/detail.jsp?paId=324552360 Thank you for any advice! I had some vinyl for over a year and the only thing that was left after I peeled it off is the glue from the vinyl. That can be taken care of with clay bar and no fade to the paint. GL

In just one year? Has the car been garaged? On a silver paint job there would probably be no fading. The adhesive could easily be removed with a mild adhesive remover followed by a clay down and a polish and a wax. I say leave it on...I like it.
