People put turbo rear bumpers from 996 TTs on regular Carreras, when they come only on the 4S and Turbos. Do you think that is OK too? No, it looks real stupid putting a turbo rear bumper on a Carrera that ins't a 4S or Turbo although they are the same platform and manufacturer.

Performance enhancement things are different, brakes, wheels, tires, engine upgrades etc...but cosmetic mods that are off from the original? I don't even mind side gills that are carbon fiber, can't stand blackened front kidneys personally. Hoods that are different looking with vents, don't like. Carbon fiber hood like the original shape/style exactly, OK with me. That is my preference though, people can do whatever they want to their cars.

Do you see the difference or are you going to just keep telling yourself and make some ridiculous case showing "homage" watches to then make a point that your are saying your "chromium predators" are actually "homage" angel eyes.

Wrong....

I don't like Rolex anyway...not my thing.

More of an IWC guy...

You still don't get the point do you. No one cares that he is running Linea Corse rims, people are pointing out that by putting BBS wheel caps on a rep, he's trying to pass it off as the real thing.

If you think thats cool, then you'd probably buy your girlfriend or wife a knock off Gucci handbag, or maybe you'd wear a fake IWC.

As someone said earlier, the demographics of this site sure have changed in the last 6 years since I registered.
