Where did you get the replacement from? If it's not rebuilt by Bosch - it's likely crap.
Or you could have screwed up the installation. BTW - adding "!!!!!!!!!!" to your thread title does two things (1) pisses me off (2) makes you look like a child. #2 is probably why you've received no responses to your posting.

I would suspect the voltage regulator in the alternator. Is it a name brand replacement?

Make sure your battery connections are clean and grip the posts very hard.

Won't do a thing. The red alternator light is turned on when there is a difference between the alternator output and the system voltage. If it comes on (read the sticky..) the alternator is not making current. It's dead, kaput, passed on, nailed to the perch. So far - in about 100 of the times this has come up - 100 of them have been the alternator is bad. Odds are awfully good the "rebuild" came from a chain auto parts store - where a rebuild generally consists of getting them from a junkyard and painting them so they look pretty. That seems to be the rather common scenerio. Only other possibility is the wires are hooked up wrong, but that's doubtful since they only can be connected one way (unless you are VERY VERY forceful.)

It turns out it was faulty, it was my first time going to this parts store everywhere else needed 3 to 4 days, I bought one out of a parted out m3 in the city. Every things working great now. Sorry for the !!!!! that is just how i felt, the light came and died while i was on a highway in busy traffic in the middle of the road, it took 2 hours for a tow truck. The worst day ever. I couldnt believe how easy it was to install, thanks for the help
