See above, it's leatherique leather treatment. Highly recommended.

Holy Shnike - wouldn't it be easier to put a Tom Tom or Garmin on the windshield and call it good? Nice work in undertaking the challenge. Post pics when you're done.

I'm on the same boat, I like oem looking style navigations but honestly I have read too many people pulling their equipped (at the time) stock navigations out and replacing them with aftermarket navigations for the factor that it offers much better/faster response time on navigation piloting, more navigation controls, offers a lot more audio control, better reception, more outputs. xfm, more up to date maps, the list is huge!

I plan on retrofitting myself, will be going with a very clean bezel setup along with a high performing aftermarket unit sometime later in the future after i'm done some other maintenance/mods first.

Nav is installed but there are a few issues. The CD player/monitor won't load CD's. The MKIV unit has the dreaded laser pickup issue. Also, no speed sensor data is being picked up by the NAV computer. Currently in talks with the seller to return the equipment for a refund. The BM53 tuner I installed was too old to work with the Sirius tuner I have so I ordered one from Tischer for $550. Talk about costs adding up.
